The Huddle believes that a single-payer healthcare system or Medicare for All is the only way all Americans are going to receive comprehensive affordable healthcare from birth to death.

The New York Health Program bill (S5474/A6058) never made it to the Senate and Assembly floors for a vote. The New York Health Program would be a comprehensive system of access to health insurance for New York state residents. The Campaign for New York Health is a grassroots group that is working to pass the New York Health Act, which will cover all New York residents, is comprehensive, and reduces costs.On March 17, 2021, the Medicare for All bill was introduced in the House (H.R. 1976). Physicians for a National Health Program is an organization advocating a universal, comprehensive single-payer national health program.
