Bethlehem NY Indivisible (BI)

  • This is a local chapter of the national Indivisible organization and a SwingLeft chapter.

  • By getting on their email list, you will receive newsletters with information and ways to take action at the federal, state and local level.

  • The group meets in person and by Zoom as often as possible, often on Sunday afternoons.

  • You DO NOT have to live in Bethlehem to be a member of this group. 

  • This is a great group for following Indivisible actions both National and State.

Indivisible Albany (IA)

  • Newly established Albany group, encouraging young activists.

  • Zoom meetings are held twice a month, Wednesdays at 6:00 pm.

Progressive Schenectady (PS)

  • This is a local chapter of the national Indivisible organization.

  • By signing up for their on-line newsletter, you will have access to many local actions.

  • The group holds occasional Zoom meetings, as well as in person meetings and events.

  • You DO NOT have to live in Schenectady to be on their mailing list.

We Get Out The Resistance, NY

 (WeGOTR.NY)

  • This is an Indivisible and a SwingLeft Chapter SwingLeft.org/group/wegotv.

  • Traditionally, WeGOTV.NY only participated in letter and postcard writing.

  • During Trump 2.0, it is our goal to 1) provide a supportive community to our members and 2) continue Share My Kitchen Table (SMKT) events that will both educate members regarding the Trump administration’s authoritarian actions and provide a forum for a variety of activism activities.

  • We have large group events at the First Congregational Church, 405 Quail St. Albany 12208.

  • This group is a PAC, so they donate money to Capital Region candidates running for local office. 

  • Getting on their email list will inform you of the Democrats they are supporting locally in each election.
