Why is this a critical race?
Recent rulings from ultra-conservative judges give all the more reason to elect local and regional judges who value democracy and justice over extreme ideology. We must elect these three candidates.
The Republican Marcelle is a member of the Federalist Society whose nomination under Trump in 2019 was blocked by Kirsten Gillibrand because of his opposition to abortion. Here is the article that shows his true colors: Gillibrand Blocks Area Judge's Nomination. His 2012 nomination to be the Albany County attorney was opposed by the Empire State Pride Agenda because of his work with the Alliance Defending Freedom.
