S.1 the Freedom to Vote Act will protect our elections from interference, partisan gerrymandering, and voter suppression. (This bill was formerly the For the People Act but was revised and renamed.) Click here to learn more about this bill.

A group of Huddle members asked our local governments to pass or sign resolutions, proclamations, or statements in support of the For the People Act. The Albany County Legislature, the towns of Guilderland and Bethlehem, and the City of Albany all presented a document of support.
